| | As a result of new technology such as the Internet, a database management system developer
often must create a new
application based on an existing one. During such migrations,
organizations will typically want to make extensive alterations to the
application due to user requirements that have changed since the initial
implementation. Our research in this area aims at the development of techniques and
prototypes for web data modeling, web data visualization and exchange, database
migration, and user
interface design. Our work has been funded in part by National Library of Medicine - National Institues of Health,
The Oklahoma City National Memorial Institute for the Prevention of Terrorism (MIPT),
Northrop Grumman, Inc.,
RAIN Oklahoma, and OU Bioengineering Center/Whitetaker Foundation
