Papers describing novel contributions which describe the subject of Projection-Based Transforms are invited for the Special Issue. Both theoretical and experimental contributions from academia and industry are welcome. The goal of the Special Issue is to gather significant research results that explore such algorithms and techniques. It is intended to interpret the subject rather widely, to avoid excluding important cognate topics such as geometric invariance and sampling strategies. The Special Issue will also identify the future directions of research in this field. Possible topics include (but are not limited to):
