  • The School of CS, located in the Engineering Laboratory (EL) Building, recently completed renovation of the west entrance reception area and a new computer lab. We also have lab and office space in the Stephenson Research Center and are looking forward to moving to our new space in the new Devon Energy Hall, which will also be the home for the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

  • The School of CS offers BS, MS, and PhD programs as well as accelerated BS/MS dual degree programs in computer engineering and computer science.

  • There are about 300 undergraduates and 125 graduates enrolled in CS programs at OU.

  • A degree in CS offers many exciting career opportunities.

  • The School of CS employs 15 full-time faculty, 2 visiting instructors, and five staff members.

  • CS faculty perform research in a variety of areas, which results in more than 50 scholarly publications and over $1 million of externally funded research expenditures each year.

  • CS faculty are nationally and internationally recognized for their achievements, including two IEEE Fellows, one ACM Fellow, and four chairs/professorships.

  • CS faculty are innovators in education and leaders in technology development and service.

  • The CS Board of Advisors composed of OU alumni and members of industry, meet with the School of CS on campus on a regular basis.
